BGGB is a narrative and research-based creative practice. Understanding design as a material action with symbolic significance, they utilize artifacts as means to explore complexities with a multidisciplinary perspective, challenging common dichotomies between scientific and aesthetic inquiry.
BGGB is a creative duo based in Milan. Their diverse experiences range from product design to communication, to the management and curation of design–related projects, allowing them to have an all-round view of the dynamics of the design industry. Together they conceive narrative and research-based concepts and offer design consultancy to companies as well as institutions and NGOs.
Their individual works have been exhibited on international platforms and events such as Paris Design Week, Vienna Design Week, Salone Satellite, Schloss Hollenegg for Design and EDIT Napoli, and published on several media outlets including AD, Elle Decor, Exibart, Interni, Manera Magazine, Surface Magazine, Impeached Magazine, El País.
Luca Gruber (*1995) gained insight of the craft and luxury world through his collaborations with Bodo Sperlein and Ini Archibong, before dedicating himself to the development of his own design practice, focusing on high-end furniture and accessories.
Sara Bologna (*1996) is a designer and researcher. She specialized in the coordination, communication, and curation of design events, thanks to her yearly experience within Milan Design Week.
